Artificial Intelligence - Astra LPR Toll Tag Processing - 2 step approach

Step1: Astra LPR -AI license plate extraction from images directly without the need for additional OCR with 99% accuracy.

  • We host our solution in a client-specific dedicated cloud environment to ensure security and compliance with API level integration with exiting platforms. However, if necessary, we can host the solution in your on-prem infrastructure also.
  • The images received from toll tag back-office system are stored in storage. The AI model picks up these images and extracts the license plates numbers which are stored in database.
  • Processing Modes: Support both real-time (active) processing and batch processing

    • Step 2 Human Review for Edge Cases and Quality Assurance:

  • We leverage random sampling of processed images for manual review. This is to ensure that our quality is maintained.
  • Approximately 1% of images that the AI cannot confidently process are routed for manual review. This is based on our data/ images.
  • Our offshore team (or a U.S.-based team, if required) also examines random image samples. If the plate is unreadable, the image is marked accordingly. If any discrepancies are noticed in the automated AI processed images, then an alarm is sounded immediately.
